Trendin' is a social media platform that focuses on trends. Users can share pictures, videos and texts with each other in order to create and propagate trends. The posts that create the biggest trends will be available for the general public in the top trending sections. This will help top content creators get the ultimate exposure they need to amass followers and become influencers. Since the application focuses on trends, the rating system it uses is also geared towards trends. That means the more trend follows a post gets, the higher its rating gets. This way, an absurd amount of likes will not skew the rating of posts and no one will be discouraged to create content in fear of getting a low rated post.
